February 2026 Update

February has hit hard already. Between a chaotic work schedule, wild weather swings, and the world’s usual curveballs, it’s been a lot. I hope those of you who keep coming back have been staying safe and warm (or cool if you’re in the southern hemisphere).

I’ve accomplished less than I’d planned, but I’m still on track with my core goals. Some larger projects are demanding attention right now, so this month you’ll see just one update instead of my usual cadence.

Here’s what’s on deck.

Going Home

I missed the short story submission window with everything going on, but I’ve been reconsidering my strategy. Rather than chasing individual story submissions, I’m weighing whether to focus on publishing the novel I’ve been working on and self-publishing my short stories as anthologies instead. I may end up posting this one here.

The Alchemist’s Heirloom

Progress has been slower than I’d like, but it’s still moving forward. The maps remain the biggest challenge, though they’re coming along.

Strange Beginnings

Session Three was a blast. Events are escalating fast, and it’s only been the characters’ first day on the job. Session Four should happen by the end of this month, and I can’t wait to see how their second day unfolds.

Misc

I’ve got plenty rolling around in my head. Maybe something else will surface when the hyperfocus kicks in and I can’t help myself.

As always, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!

If you are new here and would like to explore more of what I have written or what I am working on, you can find most everything here.
